Park West began with a clear client vision to create a West Valley lifestyle center with the character and energy of Scottsdale’s Kierland Commons. In 2006, our team stepped in to make that vision possible by identifying the ideal parcel of land and leading the pre-leasing effort. We analyzed the Phoenix market closely, searching for a location supported by strong demographics and unmet retail demand.

Just over eight miles south of Arrowhead Mall, we found the perfect site in a rapidly growing trade area where Arrowhead was nearly fully leased. This created an opportunity to attract quality national retailers, and over the next several years we secured leases with brands such as Chico’s, Brighton Collectibles, Coldwater Creek, and J Jill. The economic downturn of 2008 and 2009 created challenges, and several tenants were unable to move forward. Even with this setback, the project opened and continued to evolve. Today, after changing ownership multiple times, Park West has grown into a thriving West Valley destination known for its shopping, dining, and community events, demonstrating the lasting impact of thoughtful market analysis and strong early leasing.
